There will be a reunion: Let It Be

The ultimate Beatles fan experience, seen by over two million people worldwide, including its previous West End run, will arrive to the Gaiety Theatre and run through September 17th – 22nd with a never before seen Part II. Let It Be: A Celebration of the Music of the Beatles has a brand new second act, featuring over 40 of the Beatles greatest hits, along with the story of a reunion that never was. Imagine if The Beatles had reformed ten years later, this is what it could have looked like.

Part II of Let It Be is the brand new part of the show, giving audiences the rare opportunity to see The Beatles reunite for one night only, set a decade after the group went their separate ways. Relive, Rejoice and Rewind back to the glory years of the Beatles in Jeff Parry’s revolutionary reinvention of one of music’s most iconic bands.

Let It Be has received high critical-acclaim across the globe:

‘The Beatles are back sending theatre audiences dancing into the aisles’

Reuters, New York

‘Winning over an Empire full of Liverpudlians (including John Lennon’s sister Julia) is no mean feat. But one that Let It Be happily achieves’

Liverpool Echo

‘Fab for all the family’

The Times of London

Let It Be is the ultimate experience for Beatles fans, and features many of the Fab Four’s best loved songs including A Hard Days Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Twist and Shout, I Want To Hold Your Hand and Strawberry Fields Forever. Along with unique performances hand-picked from each member’s respected solo careers.

In a twist from the original Let It Be show, audiences will then be taken on a Magical Mystery Tour to experience the concert that never was.

Creator Jeff Parry spoke on seeing audience reactions:

“I  love  to  watch  people’s  faces  when  they  see  a  Lennon  song  followed  by  a  Harrison  song. It’s almost  as  if  they  didn’t  link  the  two  together.  Oh  yes,  those  guys  were  in  the  same  band  at  one time?”

The  Lennon  songs  from  Double  Fantasy  and  then,  of  course,  Imagine  bring  real  emotion  as  they have  never  been performed  live,  and  it  reminds  us  all  of  how  much  he  is  missed  and  how  much more  he  could  have  contributed.”
