When the team behind Taste of Dublin create a new event, you know the bar will be set high. Equinox Events bring you their new project, Thrive Festival. Looking to disrupt the market with a new vibrant festival, Thrive is all about you. Discover new fitness classes to try, hear some of the country’s top wellness advocates give you their best advice and be inspired to get into the kitchen. Yoga HIIT – Gut Health – Sleep Clinics – Decluttering Financial Advice – Ditching Diet Culture and so much more – it’s time to educate yourself and best of all, it happens indoors in an incredible space, The Convention Centre Dublin on Saturday March 30th and Sunday March 31st 2019. Spring into a new you and Thrive!

Just like Taste, there are two sessions each day to choose from. If you are an early starter the 8.30am session will kick your day off or if you prefer a leisurely start to a day the 12.30pm is for you. Included in the ticket price is access to the Signature Talk that starts each session and access for up to four classes or workshops. Come for one session or buy the weekend pass for access to two, avoid Brexit talk with a weekend to clear the head and mind at Thrive!

Fitness: Thrive is for all levels of expertise. If you are a complete beginner at yoga there will be sessions for you, if you are the boxing queen then there is a class for you. Have no fear Thrive is all about being able to try new classes or take your experience to the next level. Dip your toes in to new classes with exclusives from:

Wellness: The team have really looked at wellness as a whole life rather than just bubble baths and spa days. Wellness comes from all around you not just within, the Thrive team have put together a schedule of talks from the best there is including:

  • Sleep Clinics with Tom Coleman and Deirdre O’Connor
  • Gut health with Maeve Madden and The Gut Stuff
  • Laura Thomas PHD will be demystifying the diet culture with Intuitive Eating

  • Declutter your life with help from Breda Stack

Food: Needless to say, with the team’s foodie experience they have put together a really high quality level of people to watch and learn from.

  • Jasmine Hemsley will be Living La Vida Veda
  • Indy Power will be cooking up some easy mid-week meals and treats
  • Finn Ni Fhaolain will be on hand with some great GF and plant based baking
  • Also on hand are Holly White, Jeeny Maltese, Food Flicker, Sinead Delahunty and more.

When is it?
Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st March 2019 in the iconic The Convention Centre Dublin

What is it?
Thrive Festival is for everyone who is interested in health and wellbeing.  You will hear from the coolest change-makers and experts who are passionate about teaching us how to live a healthier and happier life.  It will challenge and excite you and leave you happier, healthier and more fulfilled than when you arrived.

Wellness is not a one size fits all and finding what works for you is key to being the best version of yourself.  Thrive Festival is giving everyone who attends the chance to tailor their session to what suits and interests them.

How does it work exactly?
There are two sessions per day to choose from:
Saturday 30th:  8.30am to 3pm or 12.30pm to 7pm
Sunday 31st: 8:30am to 3pm or 12.30pm to 7pm

Each session costs €47:50 or you can attend two for €70

The day begins with the Signature Speaker’s talk. Gemma Atkinson is taking the stage on Saturday and on Sunday it is Dr Hazel Wallace, The Food Medic.

After that you’re free to attend whatever 4 classes or workshops that interest you.  Timetables are available on www.thrivefestival.ie so you can plan your day in advance.
